Ansley Jones Colby is the CEO of GivingPoint. Her mission is to inspire a new generation of young social philanthropists who seek to connect and serve others in today’s technology-driven world. Prior to joining GivingPoint and the Myfifident Foundation, Ansley was the Vice President for Culture and ChoicePoint Care at ChoicePoint, Inc. Ansley oversaw the benevolent activities for ChoicePoint, including in-kind donations, corporate philanthropy, and foundation grant making. She was responsible for developing programs that focused on the protection of children and other vulnerable populations through tools that capitalized upon ChoicePoint’s unique technical capabilities. Under her leadership, ChoicePoint was awarded the Sue Weaver CAUSE Award, the American Red Cross Circle of Humanitarians Award, the Metro Atlanta Corporate Volunteer Council Project Award, and the United States Chamber of Commerce Corporate Citizenship Award. Before her work at ChoicePoint, Ansley guided Delta Air Lines’ community affairs initiatives, creating and implementing a successful strategic framework that leveraged relationships with community leaders to build the airline’s reputation as a strong corporate citizen.

Ansley also has extensive experience in government affairs. She spent 8 years in public service in Washington. She served as Director of Public Liaison and Senior Political Advisor for Vice President Al Gore during the Clinton Administration. She has worked as a presidential appointee for the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

In 2001, she was selected to participate in Leadership Atlanta, which identifies and cultivates leaders and provides a forum for informed citizens committed to using their talents and positions to improve the Atlanta community. She was also a delegation leader for the American Council of Young Political Leaders, a bipartisan, nonprofit educational exchange organization dedicated to fostering relations between the next generation of political leaders in the United States and their counterparts around the world.

Ansley graduated cum laude from Furman University, where she is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received her MBA from The George Washington University.

Ansley resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Stewart, and son, Mac.
